I was fortunate to have Geoff recommended to me after being unjustifiably dismissed from my employment. Geoff thoroughly read my paperwork and advised me that it looked like I had a good case. I proceeded to engage Geoff to represent me. As is the case with most employment issues it took approx 2 years to reach a final verdict, of which we won well.

During the time involved Geoff kept constant contact with me, updating on any communication he had received. My case was fairly billed on an ongoing basis which suited our budget for this. It was great not having one sum to outlay at the end point. Geoff has a superb knowledge of law and how to address anything relevant once in court. It was very satisfying to see him in action against my ex-employer.

I first spoke with Geoff about 3 months before leaving my place of work. He advised me at the time, that the way I was being treated was not only unfair and impacting my mental health, but unlawful under the employment act. I stuck it out, hoping it would get better but unfortunately it only escalated. 

When I finally made the decision to leave, Geoff was empathetic and caring, asking the hard questions that needed to be addressed. He advised that we did have a case and we went forward. Throughout the process (which was incredibly short, thanks to Geoff), his communication and updates were constant, all the while managing my emotions with compassion.
